Hi everyone and welcome to Madjec Home-baked with love. Thanks for stopping by.
Madjec Home-baked with love is a German-influenced home bakery, based in Cape Town, South Africa. I love to work with real butter, almonds, free-range eggs, Belgian chocolate and fresh fruit. Some of the cakes, muffins and biscuits are vegan and gluten-free. The main emphasis is on divine traditional flavors and enjoying healthy clean bakes and cookies.

HOW TO ORDER
Have a birthday coming up, or just feel like authentic German cake?
To order simply fill out the form below, or WhatsApp/email me.
In the message please mention the cake that you would like, the size of the cake and by when you need it.
Please note that all orders will take two days to fulfil, so if you need a cake by Friday, please order by Wednesday. Cakes can be made to pick up for the weekend on request.
(Most cakes taste even better on the second day! So a Friday pick up for a Saturday event works just fine too)
Delivery and pick up
I can deliver your cake within Constantia, Bergvliet, Tokai, Houtbay and the CBD.
You can come pick up your cake in Constantia, or I can bring you your cake at a small fee if you live outside the above-mentioned areas.

THE STORY BEHIND MADJEC
I am Marianne Skinner, the baker behind Madjec Home-baked with love. I am a Namibian-German, living in Cape Town.
I spreche natürlich auch Deutsch!
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, hiking, art and, of course, baking.
What's in the name Madjec?
No, it's not a spelling mistake! It's a play on the names of my husband, my kids and my own. An ode to the family run nature of this little business and the desire to bring a bit of magic to those around us.
